About Me

I received my Master's of Social Work from Simmons College, in Boston, MA.  I specialized in Trauma and Interpersonal Violence and received a Faculty Leadership Award. I am licensed to practice in New York State. In the past, I have interned as a Clinical Therapist in an eating disorder partial hospital program and a hospital inpatient psychiatric unit.  I worked as a Psychiatric Assessment Officer in the emergency department at WCCHS.  I've also worked as a Clinical Therapist in a county mental health clinic and a hospital mental health clinic.  I received a BA in Psychology and Sociology from the State University of New York at Geneseo, NY.

I am currently in private practice as a Level 3 AEDP Clinical Therapist. I specialize in the treatment of trauma, dissociation, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I work with adults, adolescents, couples, and groups. I am a warm and deeply compassionate therapist, intent on creating a safe space for my clients - a place where they are no longer alone with their pain. My approach to treatment is customized to meet the needs of my clients. I utilize techniques and methods spanning experiential, psychodynamic, and behavioral approaches.  But while I can apply techniques to address specific symptoms, treatment with me goes beyond symptom reduction to address deeply rooted issues through the use of Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy.
